About Amir
My journey of learning the English language started when I was a teenager, I always had an interest in studying English literature and history back then, so, English Literature was my first choice for academic purposes. After graduation, teaching the language itself seemed appealing to me, and I believed it would be an enjoyable ride as well. As a result, I participated in the CELTA course and managed to pass the course. Having passed the course, I started teaching and have been working ever since. In the meantime, I have been able to achieve an overall score of 8.5 on IELTS Academic. However, my love for literature has never faded away and would love to pursue both fields.

My teaching style is engaging you as a student in the class. I do not want you to be passive! You will be active every step of the way, and we will learn and sometimes have fun at the same time! Based on the type of classes you have chosen, we might have either a book (such as American English File) or a discussion (speaking classes). In all my classes, I bring authentic materials such as videos.
