About Alex

I have two years experience of English tutoring - both online and in-person in the Czech Republic - tutoring over 30 students either 1-2-1 or in group classes. Outside of tutoring I am a current UK Civil Servant with over five years experience working in policy roles, and have a History BA from UEA and History MA from Bristol University.

About the lesson

I can provide conversational practice in business and general English with a focus on the specific needs of the student. I enjoy free conversation in my lessons as it allows students to express themselves naturally in addition to find which areas can be improved. I am available typically outside of 9-5 on weekdays, with some availability on weekends.

Deadly! Alex is a great teacher. He explains always to me the mistakes with huge patience, and also helps me to improve my English.
The most valuable for me, is that he adapts the contents of the class for my needs, and doesn't try to follow an standard program.

Alex is a very sympathetic and patient teacher who can explain the things in a really interesting way. Even if Alex is a native ENG speaker his pronunciation is not typically British :). He is a profesional in his specialization who is every time on time to make the lesson as funny as possible!
