About Sarah
I am an ESL teacher with a background in Early Childhood Education.
New to the the tutoring world I have a great passion for education and empowering individuals through learning, achieving goals, personal connection and fun!
My experience as a volunteer tutor and mentor has given me the opportunity to tutor from 6 to 70 years old.
Prior to ESL teaching I have had 5 years experience educating children ages 1-6.
This role has helped develop a student centred, interactive and warm approach to my lessons. I want you to feel relaxed and like you're talking to a friend so we can achieve the best possible outcome for your English language journey.

My teaching approach focuses on an detailed understanding of your individual learning style, learning history,language goals and interests to inform unique, tailored lesson plans based on YOU.
Due to COVID times I have completed my training online and am highly experienced with lesson planning techniques to make online learning engaging and dynamic (games, interactive programs and range of media sources)
My lessons are geared towards students who want to boost their general English skills focusing on:
conversation, vocabulary, grammar and functional language.
I offer sessions specialising in language skills required in Early Childhood Sector.
