About Amélie

I’m passionate about helping aspiring art students access their full potential and gain entry to leading art schools. I have a strong background across a range of creative practices, including fashion design, photography, writing, curation, and fine art.

I am currently continuing my own studies in Culture, Criticism and Curation at Central Saint Martins, so I understand the challenges of standing out in competitive applications.

I held 2 offers for Central Saint Martins, and received back offers from all of my applications.

About the lesson

My lessons are highly individualised and curated for you. I start by assessing your current portfolio, strengths, and end goals – whether you’re applying for a foundation course, an undergraduate programme, or a specialised course.

We’ll explore personal narratives and build projects that reflect your style. We will also practise interviews based on my first-hand art school application knowledge and refine your personal statement.

My method balances creative freedom and passion with constructive criticism.

A standard session will be one or two hours, depending on your needs. I can offer longer sessions for intensive preparation.

I received a distinction in every project completed while doing my UAL Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design and Communication.

I have experience in creative practices, plus knowledge of what top art schools are looking for. I am familiar with interview expectations, digital submission formats, and contextual writing.

My lessons are for ages 16+, anyone preparing for art school, and students needing portfolio enhancement.
