About
Hi, I’m Nick—a dedicated and energetic middle school ELA and Reading teacher in Beresford, South Dakota. I have over two years of classroom experience teaching grades 6–8 and coaching Quiz Bowl, Track and Field, and Basketball. In 2024, I earned my Master’s in Teaching and Learning from Northern State University, equipping me with advanced strategies to engage students and help them grow academically and personally. I specialize in literacy, writing, grammar, and test prep, and I work well with a wide range of learners. My teaching style is structured but encouraging, and I always aim to build confidence and independence in my students. During the summer, I offer flexible online tutoring to help students stay sharp or catch up.
