About Savannah
I have a degree in Middle School language arts and social studies. I have taught 8th grade classes, and 9th grade. Additionally I have a certificate for teaching English Language arts up to 12th grade. I have been a teacher for 3 years, and currently work with preschool but I love teaching 4-12th language arts, particularly writing skills and literature analysis.

I work with my students to create content that is engaging to them. For this reason I always, whether in a class or one-on-one, require my students to take an interest survey so that I can create lessons that will truly be of interest (as much as possible) to them. I also always encourage students to complete a task or challenge on their own first and prefer to teach through projects. A student's confidence is an important skill to learn.

Details
If you must cancel a scheduled appointment, please notify me 24 hours in advance as I will be arranging my schedule based on your self-reported availability. The first time you miss a 24 hour notice and cancel or reschedule, I will charge you half the price of the session, the next time you cancel you will need to pay the full price of the session +$5. The third time you cancel without notice our sessions may be subject to termination plus the $20 fee.
