I am a certified English teacher with five years of experience. I primarily teach juniors in a curriculum that focuses on American Literature and technical writing. I also teach Creative Writing and love to help students find and develop their passion for writing.

I am passionate about meeting learners where they are at and helping to develop them through various strategies based on personal interests and strengths. I am able to adjust my teaching to my students' learning styles and preferences and believe that everyone is capable of learning anything as long as they are willing to work. I also coach which has helped me implement similar concepts, such as practicing fundamentals, into my lessons.
