My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual needs. I begin by identifying the student’s goals, strengths, and areas of need, then use targeted strategies such as close reading, guided writing, modeling, and scaffolded practice to build skills and confidence.
A typical lesson includes a brief review, direct instruction on one focused skill, guided practice, and independent application with feedback. I align lessons to grade-level standards and classroom expectations.

I will start with a parent/student consultation, and the first formal session is at full price (not free). I prepare a lesson plan for each student before every session. Each lesson is differentiated for the student, meeting them where they are. This is a highly personalized approach.
