About Ashley

Education has always been my passion! As a lifelong learner, I’m dedicated to making learning enjoyable, interactive, and reflective of my students’ unique interests. Whether we’re exploring classic literature, tackling grammar challenges, or crafting creative essays, I strive to bring energy and enthusiasm to every session. I hold a Master’s degree in English Literature and a Master of Education. With over 10 years of tutoring experience and more than 5 years teaching in the classroom, I’ve worked with students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. My goal is to help you feel confident and empowered in your English skills. I’m a solution-focused educator and your strongest ally in learning. I love finding creative ways to explain tough concepts and turning struggles into "aha!" moments. When needed, I collaborate with your teachers to provide accurate and personalized support, ensuring your success. Beyond teaching, I’m an avid reader, a fan of word games, and always on the hunt for the best coffee shop to curl up with a good book. My lessons are engaging and learner-centered. Learning should be fun and rewarding. Each lesson is specifically geared towards your learning style and current studies. I promise to help you achieve your learning goals and focus on your strengths as a learner. I teach grade 7-12 & post-secondary English skills to domestic and international students.
