As a tutor, I believe in making grammar feel approachable and even enjoyable. My teaching method is rooted in building confidence through clarity, repetition, and real-life examples. I focus on helping students truly understand the why behind grammar rules—not just memorizing them—so they can apply their knowledge naturally in writing and conversation.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of the previous topic, followed by a short, focused explanation of a new grammar concept. We then work through examples together, and I give students guided exercises to practice on their own. Lessons always end with a brief recap and one takeaway or “quick tip” to remember for next time.
What sets me apart is my patience, adaptability, and understanding of how different minds learn differently. I take the time to break complex ideas into digestible parts and use visuals or analogies when needed. I also love tailoring my approach to each student’s interests—whether they love stories, music, or video games—so grammar becomes more relevant and less intimidating.
These lessons are ideal for middle school to college-level students, ESL learners, or adults brushing up on their grammar for professional or personal growth.
