About Veronica
I have both my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and TEO (Teaching English Online) certificates from International TEFL Academy. I also have experience tutoring adults in ESL online through a volunteer organization, Heartland Alliance, although I will gladly tutor any ages.
I am caring and eager to learn about new people and their backgrounds. I do my best to make the material as relevant and interesting to the individual student as possible.
If ESL is not what you're looking for, but rather an English Language Arts/Composition tutor, then that works perfectly too! I will gladly help you.

My teaching method revolves entirely around the student. Rather than sitting through long explanations of grammar, a concept is posed and we begin learning that topic through total immersion in English-language sources. We may begin our lessons with quick pronunciation and vocabulary warm-up.
I have the ability and desire to teach all experience levels and ages. We can focus on any topics you would like, from technical or job-specific language to the arts or sciences.
As needed, I can help students of all age levels with essay formulation and writing coaching.
