About Yvonne
I have a BacheIor of Science Degree from Cornell University and a Master's degree in education from Cambridge College. I have New York State teaching certification for all the subject areas at the elementary school level. I also have New York State certification in the visual arts grade K through high school. I taught with the New York City Department of Education for twenty years and I have been a professional tutor for almost ten years.

I make reading and writing instruction stimulating by using various multi sensory strategies and I provide opportunities for creative expression. I utilize my background in visual arts to further enhance the lessons. I have taught all elementary grade levels as well as middle and high school students.
