About Ganiyat

I teach because I genuinely love sharing this craft and helping others discover the joy and empowerment that comes with being able to braid beautifully. I want to help individuals build a strong foundation in braiding for either personal care, child care or starting their own hair business. I am excited to help you unlock your potential, whether you are learning the basics or mastering advanced styles. You don't need any prior experience - just a willingness to learn and have fun.

About the lesson

As a passionate and experienced hair braider, I offer private tutoring that is both hands-on and tailored to each student’s learning pace and goals. My approach is friendly, encouraging, and focused on building your confidence with each session. I teach a wide range of techniques, including basic three-strand braids, cornrows, box braids, twists, feed-in braids, and more advanced styles. My lessons are step-by-step, starting with foundational skills and gradually moving to complex designs. I use a mix of visual aids, live demonstrations, and one-on-one feedback to ensure you understand each technique clearly. Each lesson typically lasts 1 to 1.5 hours. This allows enough time to learn, practice, and ask questions without feeling rushed. Longer or more focused sessions can also be arranged based on your needs. I have several years of hands-on experience in braiding for clients of different ages and hair types. I’ve also taught beginners who now confidently braid for themselves or others. With a strong background in client care and personal grooming, I bring professionalism and creativity to every session. My lessons are suitable for all skill levels – whether you’re a complete beginner or someone looking to refine your technique. I welcome students from age 12 and up, including hobbyists, aspiring professionals, or anyone simply interested in learning how to braid beautifully and properly.
