About Réann

As far as I can remember, I have always been around horses. I started riding at 3 and never stopped !

After almost 16 years riding - of which 9 competing in gymkhana, show-jumping and eventing - I took a break in my university studies in 2022 to spend a year training to be a qualified instructor in France.

In 2018 I got my own pony, and the necessity to deal with some of his behavioural issues opened my eyes to the importance of groundwork and really building that trust and understanding in every aspect, which is why I also put an emphasis on the horse education aspect. I have experience with stallions, youngsters, all types of horses from mischievous shetlands to Grand-Prix level dressage horses.

Over the years I have worked in livery stables, studs, riding schools and private competition stables, and am happy to provide references if needed !

Whether you've just become a horse owner and want some guidance to start off on the right foot, or an experienced rider looking for more technical insights, there is definitely something we can work on.

I have experience teaching and coaching in all three Olympic disciplines with children and adults, but if you are looking for someone to teach your kids in a more fun, game-like approach that is also something I love doing !

I can help you with groundwork and liberty work too, with young horses or in difficult situations, or even just if you are seeking to deepen your connection. Be it on the ground or riding, my approach is completely focused on respecting the animal's physical and psychological integrity, and using an ethological perspective to help you better understand your partner so you have the keys to make progress on your own too !

For children under 7 or horses under 6, lessons are 30 minutes simply because of the attention-span and effort it requires. However, to delve into more technical aspects we can be working up to an hour and a half.
