About Ursula
I live in Venice. I am a qualified Italian language teacher and a tour guide. I have experience in teaching students of different levels, both in phisical and virtual classrooms . I graduated at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice in Oriental Languages and Civilizations (specialize: Japanese language and culture). I love traveling, reading, children, languages and cultures of all countries, first of all mine. My biggest passion is Japan.

My private lessons are for everyone. At the very beginning, I usually have a trial lesson to introduce myself and show potential students the way I teach. The trail lesson also allows me to understand the level, the interests and goals of my potential students. That's a starting point to create tailor-made lessons for each of them. A lesson consists of different stages (introduction, listening / reading / video, vocabulary presentation / linguistic structure, comprehension / practice, assignment of tasks, closing) which may vary in order, sequence and duration according to the situation. TTT (teacher talking time) is gradually reduced throughout the lesson in favor of the STT (student talking time). Teching material range from the most classic exercises to puzzles, audios, videos, genuine texts and so on
