My name is Mahiro, and I am a certified Japanese language teacher based in Brisbane. I also teach Japanese soroban (abacus). If you’d like to improve your mental math skills and calculate faster, I’d be happy to help you! I hold an official qualification as a Japanese language teacher and am passionate about helping students learn Japanese in a practical, enjoyable, and supportive way. With experience in customer service and hospitality, I have developed strong communication skills and enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds. I tailor each lesson to my students’ individual goals, whether you’re a complete beginner, looking to improve your conversation skills, or learning Japanese for travel, work, or personal interest. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and easygoing. I focus on building your confidence while making every lesson engaging and enjoyable.
