About Matteo
I am an experienced piano tutor with over 9+ years of teaching experience, helping students from school, college, and working professional backgrounds develop their musical abilities. I believe that every student can learn piano with the right guidance and support.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, clarity, and step-by-step progress. I adapt my lessons based on each student’s learning style and goals, ensuring steady improvement. I focus on building strong fundamentals before moving to advanced techniques.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to help students understand music deeply. I include practical exercises and creative learning methods to keep students engaged. My strength is making learning simple and effective.
I help students build confidence, improve consistency, and develop regular practice habits. I aim to create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel inspired to learn.

I follow a student-centred, creative, and adaptive teaching methodology that emphasises the growth and development of every learner. I believe piano lessons should be engaging, enjoyable, and tailored to the student’s abilities and goals.
Through effective communication, I understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and musical interests, which allows me to create lessons that are both inspiring and effective.
Creativity is a key element of my approach. Students are encouraged to explore improvisation, compose their own music, and experiment with different genres, building artistic confidence and a personal musical voice. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, fostering steady progress while keeping learning fun and motivating.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This integrated methodology develops technical skills, musical understanding, and expressive ability. My goal is to guide students to become confident, creative, and passionate musicians.
