About Shreya

I am a psychologist by profession with a deep passion for the French language and culture, who has completed her B2 in French with an experience in teaching of over 2 years. I have taught students of age groups ranging from 10 to 50 years for school, college, and A1, A2 levels. I visited France through a cultural exchange program where I got the opportunity to live with a French family and profoundly absorb their culture, language, and pronunciation. I believe in an absolutely open and friendly approach to learning.

About the lesson

I believe speaking skills are as important as reading and writing. My approach includes giving equal attention to speaking, writing, listening and reading, which also prepares the student for DELF examinations. I also emphasize on grammar and vocabulary, which helps the student create a strong foundation for learning the language. My classes are known to possess innumerable fun activities and a wholesome, chilled-out atmosphere. The structure of classes is highly customizable as per requirement and they are available for school, college-level and adults for A1, A2 and B1 level.

Deadly! Shreya is an exceptional French teacher. She makes sure you’re having fun in the class. With most teachers and French teaching places you’d need to put in a lot of expense for study material, but not with her. She has created an entire syllabus with her own study material which she customized to the requirements of each student and their skill level. She also uses fun videos and props so you learn with interaction and it retains. With her you’ll start speaking within first four to six classes. Unlike theoretical French teachers she has actually lived in France and can also teach you how the locals talk. Plus she is in general a very knowledgable and fun person to interact with. Try her classes out, you’ll be very glad that you did.

Deadly! Shreya is the best french tutor I could find on this site. She is a sincere and sweet person. She knows the level of the student and focuses on improving the part where the student lacks in. She also gives some exercises to revise, and is very good at keeping her students interested and concentrated in the class by giving fun sessions too. She is extremely patient and fun! My french improved so much with her, so I won't hesitate to recommend her.
