About Finn
I’m from an area called Derbyshire in England. I started learning the guitar at the age of twelve and from there it is a skill that I have always appreciated. After taking my theory and practical exams and achieving an A* in music GCSE I went on to explore the various forms of guitar playing. I composed my own classical pieces and arranged classical renditions of popular songs. I busked in towns and seaside villages during the summers which was an amazing experience. I applied my classical guitar skills to electric fingerstyle guitar when I joined a band and played lead at gigs. I then went on to use my skills to help others learn how to play this instrument that has brought me so much joy by becoming a guitar teacher. I find teaching very fun and take pleasure knowing that my students might gain such life experiences from playing an instrument just as I have.

I take each student through a course that I myself completed as I was learning to play the guitar. It is fun and extremely efficient, teaching students invaluable skills such as reading music, classical techniques and playing ability.
From this course you can go on to play in numerous different styles such as classical, fingerstyle, electric, blues, country, and jazz guitar… Techniques in this course can also be easily applied to many other stringed instruments.
I specialise in classical and fingerstyle guitar as that is my area of expertise but can teach other styles on request.

Details
I prefer to do 30 minute lessons at £10 a lesson on a weekly basis as I’ve found this the most effective and enjoyable duration. Let me know if this works for you.
