About Kimberly
Hi! I’m a certified elementary teacher with experience teaching kindergarten through 4th grade, with a strong passion for early literacy and helping children become confident readers. I hold certifications in EC–6, ESL, and the Science of Teaching Reading (STR), and I specialize in phonics-based instruction.
I have worked with students in whole group, small group, and one-on-one settings, providing targeted support for struggling readers as well as enrichment for developing learners. My approach is patient, encouraging, and structured, and I believe every child can learn to read with the right support.
I’m committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable, successful, and motivated to grow.

Hi! I’m a certified elementary teacher specializing in early literacy, phonics, and reading development for K–2 students. I work with both beginning readers and struggling readers, helping them build strong foundational skills and confidence.

I use a research-based approach that includes phonics instruction, phonemic awareness, fluency practice, and reading comprehension. I also incorporate hands-on and interactive activities to keep young learners motivated and excited.
Each session is personalized, whether your child needs help learning letter sounds, blending words, or improving reading fluency. I focus on creating a supportive, positive environment where students feel successful and confident.
My goal is not just to help your child read—but to help them enjoy reading and believe in themselves as learners.
