About McKinley
I have been learning Spanish for over ten years and have professional experience interpreting and translating in a variety of settings. I am a lifelong learner and continue to expand my vocabulary every day. One of the best compliments I have ever received is that my Spanish sounds like I talk to real people. After learning academic Spanish in college, I set out to learn how people actually speak outside of the classroom. I have lived and traveled in Cuba, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Ecuador, and am familiar with accents from Venezuela, Colombia, Honduras, and El Salvador. I also have a Master's degree in Social Work and have experience working with children and families, so my lessons can be tailored to any age or experience level.
