About Johanna
Hello! I am a professional linguist who works as both a language teacher and a translator/interpreter. Thanks to my background in education and translation, I have become an expert teaching my native language, and understanding how it works. I specialize in coaching adults and helping them acquire the necessary skills to become confident, fluent users of Spanish. I have taught and tutored people of all ages at all levels in both English and Spanish. Teaching my language, I have discovered more and more of what it takes to learn a foreign language effectively. That is why I put a great effort into creating authentic and engaging material for well-rounded lessons in which you, the student, will experience interactive learning at its best.

It's a method where developing communication skills in the second language is the main goal through meaningful activities that are designed around the student's interests and motivations to promote conversation and interactive practice.
