About Meiling
I am a certified special education teacher with 5 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I also hold a M.Ed. degree from Boston University. I've taught 5th grade ELA, Math, and ESL. I've also taught English language in bilingual schools for grades K-9th grade. I am a compassionate and engaging teacher who tailors instruction to meet the needs of my students. Outside of teaching I enjoy traveling, dancing, and reading.

I offer virtual tutoring sessions for students in grades 3rd-9th in the following areas: Math, Reading - foundational reading skills, vocabulary building, and reading comprehension, Writing, English Language, Spanish Language, and Organizational + Study Skills. I also offer English Language tutoring to children and adults. My approach to teaching and tutoring is student-centered and hands-on learning. I will work with you to identify your goals and understand your learning needs and style in order to ensure your success.
