About Morielle
I studied the violin for 22 years, graduated from Texas Tech University with a Violin Performance Bachelor's Degree, and taught violin privately for 5 years. In high school, I particularly enjoyed creative writing, history, and classical literature. Upon receiving my Certificate of Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the International Teacher Training Organization, as well as teaching English in Mexico (Jalisco, Mexico), I have thus become even more fascinated with language, spoken and written. Reading is an insanely important skill to master. Critical thinking will make your reading skills and life skills soar and explode! I am so excited to help my students accomplish all of their reading goals and make progress.

- I seek to learn my student's best way of learning - I ask my student for his/her goals in this tutoring - typical lesson plan: review, warm-up exercises/games, introduction to the new concept/lesson, exercise with new concept, applying the new concept with reading and lastly, reinforcing the new concept with an exercise - My background in playing violin and teaching violin helps me explain patterns and bigger picture concepts, instead of focusing on smaller details - The lessons are for grades 1 - 12
