About Lay
During my time at Brock University's concurrent education program, I gained the training and skills I need to become a successful teacher while working with hundreds of students throughout the years.
I'm very patient with my students and understand the frustrations and challenges that may come from learning. I'm here to bridge the gap between learning and FUN. My methods are story based in order to boost confidence in writing and comprehension.

I tailor my lessons to the strengths of my students, while building their confidence in weaker areas. All of my lessons are fun and dynamic especially for my younger learners.
I have experience teaching students of all comprehension levels. Through my time tutoring at Brock University's learning centre, I've learned how to accommodate to every students needs. I focus on implementing engaging comprehension strategies that helps the student feel in control of their own learning.
