About Gaëlle

Certified teacher, I have been teaching French for several years to children, adolescents and adults. Each course is fully personalized according to your level, your areas of interest and the diploma to be prepared. I am very available to answer your questions and I always rely on your strengths to move forward, because I think this is the best way to learn!

About the lesson

Good morning ! Graduated teacher of French as a foreign language, I have extensive experience in creating private lessons for children, adolescents and adults. I have been a French teacher in several renowned language schools (Alliances Françaises and Instituts Français). I also own the BAFA, which has led me to be in regular contact with children.

My classes are personalized and take place in a caring atmosphere. I love to teach and I adapt to each of my students. I take into account their needs, their strengths and their personality to build a tailor-made methodology.

The important thing is to feel confident in your learning. Indeed, it is much easier to achieve the goals set when we know our strengths and know what works best for us. I get to know my students, I reassure them and I guide them with kindness, patience and motivation!

HERE IS WHAT I PROPOSE FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS, COLLEGIANS AND HIGH SCHOOLS:
[N ] - support courses to progress in one or more areas (writing, grammar, conjugation ...)
- homework help (support during exercises, explanation of lessons, corrections ...)
- support for preparing for the Brevet or Baccalaureate, with files and exercises taken from annals
- methodological support for writing comments on texts and essays if you are in college or high school
- Any Another request is welcome: let's discuss it!

I develop a personalized program for each student, and we regularly make adjustments according to progress. Do not hesitate to ask me your questions and to let me know your needs or those of your child. I will listen to them carefully to prepare for my lessons.

THIS IS HOW I WORK:

1) You contact me (preferably by email) because you are looking for a teacher for you or for your child.

2) I suggest you make a telephone appointment so that we can discuss your expectations.

3) We set together a first hour of free lessons. This allows us to get to know each other, to organize ourselves for the future and to take our bearings. It often takes several hours of webcam lessons to feel fully at ease. This is completely normal :)

4) We keep in touch via WhatsApp or email. I am very available for all the questions of the children and their parents.

MY WORK TOOLS:

• Classes take place via Skype, Zoom or WhatsApp, depending on your needs and preferences
• I use Google Drive to share documents. So all lessons and corrections are available immediately, and you have access to notebooks that you can print. I also share PDF documents.
• In this document, I am including an Excel document with the lesson count, so that everything is clear for everyone.
• I will explain all this to you over the phone!

MY AVAILABILITY:

I am available every day, between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm. To optimize concentration, I prefer work sessions in blocks of 30 minutes or 1 hour. Each case is specific and everything is possible, we can talk about it by phone!

THE ADVANTAGES OF PRIVATE LESSONS:

Here are the advantages of individualized French courses:

• Each course is designed according to your specific needs (or those of your child). I adapt them according to the level, the progression and the requests.
• I answer all questions, during the course but also before and after by messaging (WhatsApp. Email ...) I help the students to feel confident to tell me about their difficulties and I adapt the contents according to the requests.
• You choose the times. I am flexible if there is a need to make a last minute change. If possible, let me know at least one day before. Of course, we can also postpone course hours!
