About Duh Florence
I am Duh Florence, a Cameroonian and I am currently a PhD student in the Faculty of Education, University of Witwatersrand. I am a certified language tutor, committed to empowering learners to benefit from the transformative role of language and also improve on their personal development.
My Master's degree in Education and an ongoing PhD studies in Education coupled with over a decade experience in teaching have equipped me with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of effective teaching and also broadened my academic horizon. My international travel experience has enriched my cultural understanding and given me a global perspective on education, making me adept at relating with students from diverse backgrounds.
I am skillful in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that motivates students to reach their full potential.

I am a certified language teacher with over ten years of experience as an educator. I teach English and French as second language, respectively to students of French and English speaking backgrounds.
My experience as a teacher in various secondary, high schools and higher education institutions has offered me both depth and breadth across the teaching field. , I have remarkable expertise in capacity building and also mastery in dealing with students of various age groups and backgrounds. This experience has not only polished my capacity to relate with students on a personal level but has also granted me the opportunity to gain insight of their needs, challenges and learning styles.
I am a devoted teacher, skilled in andragogy and l apply the most appropriate teaching methods maintain the learners’ attention and ensure that the objective of the lesson is attained.
