My Approach as a Tutor
Teaching Methodology and Techniques

A Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-up/Review (5–10 minutes): Quick review of prior material or a short engaging prompt.
Learning Goal (stated clearly): For example, “Today we will practice writing a persuasive paragraph using strong evidence.”
Instruction and Modeling: I introduce the skill or concept, often demonstrating a sample problem, paragraph, or historical analysis.
Guided Practice: Students work with me step-by-step through activities while I provide immediate feedback.
Independent Practice: Students apply the skill on their own with a short task or exercise.
