About Elrika
I am the owner of a bookkeeping practice, but teaching is something I have always wanted to do, seeing as I have the ability to communicate well with children, teenagers and adults alike. I love helping people and believe that this could be a good place to start! I would like to encourage people to become life long learners and to want to better themselves and their lives by being able to communicate with other people around the globe. Mastering the English language can open many doors and I would love to be the person that helps them get there!

I have done a lot of research on different teaching techniques and I came across: Constructivism. This is a study based on observation and scientific study. It says that people construct their own understanding and knowledge of the world, through experiencing things and reflecting on those experiences. In the classroom, the constructivist view of learning can point towards a number of different teaching practices. It usually means encouraging students to use active techniques like experiments and real-world problem solving in order to create more knowledge and then to reflect on and talk about what they are doing and how their understanding is changing. This is the teaching method I will be using in my classroom to achieve and create an interactive learning environment.
