About Maya

I am a dedicated violin tutor with 9+ years of teaching experience working with school students, college students, and working professionals. I am passionate about helping students discover the joy of music and develop their violin skills with confidence.

My teaching philosophy is centered on patience, encouragement, and personalized learning. I believe every student learns at a different pace, so I create lessons that match individual goals and abilities. Whether a student wants to learn as a hobby, prepare for performances, or improve existing skills, I provide clear guidance and continuous support.

During my teaching career, I have helped many students build strong fundamentals, improve their technique, and gain confidence in performing. Seeing students grow from beginners into capable violin players has been one of my greatest achievements.

I aim to create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students enjoy learning and stay motivated. My goal is to help students develop both musical skills and a lifelong love for music.

About the lesson

I follow a student-focused approach to teaching violin, emphasizing communication, adaptability, and practical application. I carefully observe each student’s learning style, strengths, and goals to tailor lessons that are effective and enjoyable.

I teach posture, bowing, fingering, tone production, intonation, phrasing, and expressive playing while nurturing creativity and musical interpretation. Real-life examples such as performing favorite songs, practicing with recordings, and preparing for recitals make lessons practical and engaging.

Alongside violin, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to provide a complete musical foundation. My goal is to foster skill, confidence, and a lifelong love for music.
