I met Ben through my cigar lounge. Ben would come in to visit and relax and then realized that I had some old chess sets in my cigar lounge. I knew absolutely nothing about chess and Ben helped a girl out. He took the time to teach me with absolute patience and helped inspire confidence in me. Now, I'm still no chess master or queens gambit. But, I can definitely get down on a game of chess and feel confident in what I'm doing. If you're looking for a teacher to help guide your game or someone to really challenge you, then Ben is definitely your guy. I highly recommend Ben and you should definitely give him a shot at teaching you.

Ben is great to learn chess from. He makes it really easy to learn not just the fancy moves but why you do or don't want to make a certain move. He is super patient and helps make it a fun game.

Cannot recommend Ben enough. I was stuck as basically a beginner at 350 elo and he’s gotten me up to almost a 750 in a matter of a month or so. He’s helped me stop 1 move blunders and redirected my focus to creating initiative and spotting weaknesses. 100% would recommend.
