About Christopher
My name is Chris, I am a beginners chess coach and tutor in the South West.
While research has shown that playing chess can increase children's academic development, finding a beginner's tutor can be expensive and intimidating. But it needn't be! Chess is FUN! You can play it anywhere in the world, regardless of language and is a great way to make friends.

I teach chess to juniors or those brand new to chess. My aim is to provide a relaxed introduction to the basics of chess in a non-intimidating environment that is also affordable.
My approach is based around patience and understanding. Above all, I want the lesson to be fun and ensure chess remains enjoyable while progress is achieved.
