About Benjamin
My background is in communication. I double majored in English and Communication at Trinity Christian College, where I graduated with honors and a 3.96 GPA. Afterward I studied at Second City's Harold Ramis Film School where I created a film that has been featured in several festivals.
Since then I have excelled in several communication-based jobs ranging from journalism to script writing.

I utilize a conversation heavy approach where I encourage students to come to their own conclusions.
For example, my work as a writing tutor taught me that teaching "at" students doesn't lead to good results. Instead I would show examples, ask questions, and create a relaxed environment where my students could think.
I believe a teacher's job is to teach students how to think, not what to think.
