About Doreen Chen
I am a tea enthusiast who owns a tea shop in Malaysia called Jazz Tea House (follow our page on Facebook!), established since 2015. I am now living in Beijing, teaching language full time, and sourcing for better tea and tea-wares part time.

We will dissect the 6 main types of Chinese tea and the different methods of brewing them. Then, we will move on to different tea-wares and what are the differences and how to use them correctly. In each class, I will start off with choosing the tea, setting the table, and then move on to setting the correct water temperature, and demonstrate how to brew the tea. I will also teach the correct manners and etiquette when drinking it the Chinese way. It is preferable that you have your own basic tea sets and tea, otherwise you will mouth-water seeing me savouring my cuppa!
