About Holly

I am a medical student majoring in psychiatry, and I also hold a certificate in teaching Chinese as a second language. My academic background allows me to understand not only how children learn, but also how to support their emotional and mental well-being during the learning process. I want to teach because I truly enjoy helping others grow in both knowledge and confidence. Teaching gives me the opportunity to connect with students, understand their individual needs, and make a difference in their learning journey. As someone who has worked with children in both language and math learning, I’ve seen how the right guidance can spark curiosity and motivation. I believe learning should be joyful, student-centered, and full of encouragement — and that’s the kind of teacher I strive to be.

Hello! I’m a certified Chinese teacher with a strong passion for education and child development. I specialize in teaching young learners and beginners, and I always aim to make my classes engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs.

In addition to my teaching qualification, I am currently studying psychiatry, which gives me a deeper understanding of how children think, feel, and learn. I believe that emotional support is essential in the learning process, and I strive to create a safe and encouraging environment where students feel confident to express themselves.

I have experience teaching both Chinese language and elementary-level math. This allows me to support students not only in language development but also in building logical thinking and study habits. I’m especially patient, observant, and creative in adapting my teaching methods to suit each child’s learning style.

Whether your child is learning Chinese from scratch, needs help with reading and writing, or could benefit from some extra support in math, I’m here to help every step of the way.
