About Jing

Hi, I’m Jane, a native Chinese speaker from China.

I hold a Master’s degree in Education, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction, from Universiti Putra Malaysia, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature with a teacher-education background.

My educational experience spans different settings. I have taught Chinese in middle-school classrooms, supported children with individual learning needs, and completed educational practice at a Malaysian primary school. Studying and working across varied educational environments has given me valuable experience working with learners from diverse backgrounds.

I have also carried out research in Chinese-language education and published a first-author paper on technology-supported Chinese homework design.

Beyond teaching, I enjoy learning about different cultures and connecting with people around the world. I look forward to getting to know you and your story!

About the lesson

My lessons are structured, personalized, and practical. I don’t believe in using the same course plan for every student. We’ll focus on what you need and build from there.

A typical lesson follows a simple cycle:

Review → Learn → Practice → Use → Feedback

Instead of memorizing isolated vocabulary and grammar, you’ll learn how different parts of Chinese connect and practice using them in meaningful situations.

I work with:
• Complete beginners: build a clear foundation and start making your own sentences
• Conversation learners: turn what you already know into Chinese you can actually speak
• HSK learners: focus on your target level and weaker areas
• Chinese for work: learn practical language for situations relevant to you
• Intermediate & advanced learners: improve accuracy, natural expression, and fluency

My goal is simple: you should know what you’re learning, why you’re learning it, and how to use it.
