About Glen

My name is Glen, and I am a native Italian tutor with an international academic background. I am fluent in Italian, English, and Albanian, with strong knowledge of Spanish. I studied in Italy and in the United States, where I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration while competing as a student-athlete in collegiate soccer.

My teaching approach is professional, structured, and focused on real communication. I help students develop confidence by combining conversation, grammar, and practical exercises in every lesson. Each session is carefully planned, goal-oriented, and adapted to the student’s level and objectives.

What sets me apart is my discipline, organization, and ability to explain Italian clearly and logically, shaped by my experience learning and using multiple languages while balancing high-level sport and academics. I am punctual, reliable, and fully committed to my students’ progress.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students, whether they are learning Italian for travel, work, university, or personal interest. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident, motivated, and guided at every step.

My Approach as a Tutor

Teaching method and techniques
My teaching method is practical, interactive, and conversation-based. I focus on helping students use Italian in real situations, not just study grammar. I combine speaking, listening, vocabulary, and grammar in a natural way, adapting the pace and style to each student. Mistakes are part of the process, and I use them as learning tools.

Typical lesson plan
A typical lesson starts with a short conversation to warm up and build confidence. Then we introduce new vocabulary or a grammar point, always with examples from real life. The core of the lesson is guided practice (dialogues, role-play, exercises), and we finish with a recap and a small task to reinforce what was learned.
