About Laura

Ciao! My name is Laura and I was born and raised in Italy. During my school career, I studied languages for over five years. Later, I moved to Germany, where I have improved my German using an immersive method, which inspired my current teaching style.
I am now living in Sydney, Australia and I am excited to help students learn Italian in a natural and fun way!

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is relaxed, supportive and personalized. After the first couple of sessions, once students have built some basic knowledge of Italian, I gradually introduce a more immersive method. This means using more Italian during lessons, with real-life examples and guided conversation. This method helps students improve comprehension, speaking abilities, start thinking in Italian and gain confidence naturally.
Lessons usually last for 45 minutes to one hour, depending on the student's presence and availability.
I work with beginner, intermediate and advanced students of all ages (I hold a WWCC), adapting each lesson to your level, goal and learning pace to make sure my students are supported throughout their learning journey.
