About Michal
I am a CISSP-certified cybersecurity professional based in London with over 15 years of experience working across global organisations at senior and VP level. My background spans security risk management, threat detection, identity and access management, network security, and data compliance — giving me a broad and deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape.
I hold a BSc in Web Technologies from the University of Greenwich, alongside professional certifications in Cybersecurity, GRC, and IT Risk Management. Throughout my career I have led security programmes, built machine learning-driven threat detection systems, and communicated complex security concepts to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
As a tutor, I bring that same real-world experience into every lesson. I am patient, structured, and passionate about making cybersecurity genuinely accessible — whether you are just starting out, working in a SOC, preparing for a certification, or looking to move into a more senior security role. My sessions are always tailored to the individual, and I take pride in helping students build both confidence and competence.

I am a CISSP-certified cybersecurity professional with over 15 years of industry experience, having led security programmes at VP level across global organisations.
Sessions are practical and hands-on — I use real-world case studies, threat scenarios and step-by-step exercises rather than dry theory. A typical lesson runs 60 minutes, though 90-minute sessions are available for deeper dives into topics like zero trust architecture, risk assessment, network security or identity and access management.
I adapt every lesson to you — your pace, your background, and what you actually need to achieve. Whether online or in person, you will leave each session with something concrete you can apply straight away.
