Having seen Merrine in and out of the school atmosphere, I can personally attest to the fact that her touch with children is an invaluable additon to her teaching skills. She is exceptionally good with children, and has the ability to make the classes fun, easy, interactive and instructional. Merrine also has an incredible ear and can 9 times out of 10 play any song just on hearing it. This is a skill she prides herself on passing on to her students, along with exemplary sight reading abilities, massive flexibility and intonation. She conducts enjoyable classes, that are a huge reason for many upcoming musicians' interest in the art.
