About Tristan

I am a recent Music graduate from the University of Bristol with two years of experience teaching piano to students of a wide range of ages and abilities. My musical journey began as a chorister with the Christ Church Cathedral Choir, where I developed a strong foundation in musicianship and performance.

These experiences have shaped my belief that successful music teaching is about more than technique alone. While strong foundations are important, fostering a lifelong enjoyment of music is what truly motivates progress. I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student feels encouraged to develop their skills, build confidence, and achieve their individual goals.

About the lesson

I teach all levels and ages, always taking the time to tailor each lesson to every pupil's individual needs. I focus on a range of classical techniques, sight reading and always bringing out the best musical expression from every pupil. I am a University of Bristol music graduate with a diploma in piano. I know how challenging it can be to have the confidence to try out a new instrument or to continue sticking with that instrument, which is why I pride myself on always supporting my pupils and encouraging them to perform the best they can.
