About Karla
I’m a classically trained pianist and qualified engineer with over ten years of musical and academic experience. I hold advanced diplomas from the Royal Irish Academy of Music and a First-Class Honours degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. I’ve performed at Feis Ceoil and other national events.
I’m currently preparing for competitions and pursuing further professional development in piano performance, focusing on Romantic and contemporary repertoire to refine my artistry and stage presence.

Classically trained pianist offering personalised lessons for all ages and levels. My teaching combines solid technique with expressive playing, focusing on reading, rhythm, tone, and musical understanding. The focus is always working on issues and guidance on how to practice efficiently.
Lessons range from 30-60 minutes and are tailored to each student’s pace and goals — from beginners to advanced players preparing for exams or recitals. Lessons are supportive, structured, and designed to help every student grow with confidence and artistry.
For beginner levels, the lessons can be broken down into music theory training alongside a piano lesson. Depending on time of the lesson, travel required if online option does not suit, the prices would vary so the below is not a fixed charge.
NOTE: First lesson is not free. Any exam and copy right fees that adhere with exams regulations for ARSM and RIAM boards are an additional fee that has to be paid to the exam board.
