About Harvey
Whether your goal is to sing for fun, prepare for auditions, succeed in HSC Music, perform live, or develop advanced vocal techniques, lessons are designed to provide a supportive environment where consistent progress can be made at every stage of your singing journey.
I teach a wide range of styles, from contemporary and musical theatre through to rock and metal vocals. For those interested in heavier music, lessons can include the foundations of safe distortion, fry screaming, and harsh vocal techniques, with an emphasis on vocal health and long-term development.
As a classically trained vocalist who has completed AMEB Grade 8, I have spent over six years performing in local concerts, community productions, and musical theatre performances. My training combines formal vocal technique with extensive real-world stage experience, allowing me to help students not only sing better but perform with confidence in front of an audience.

My methodology lies around building the foundations every great singer needs: breath control, pitch accuracy, vocal placement, confidence, stage presence, and performance skills.
Attaining a 96 for my HSC Music performance as a vocalist, I aim to help my high school-aged students achieve the same.
Lessons are tailored to each student, whether you’re learning to sing for the first time or looking to break through a plateau and take your voice to the next level.
Specializing in both clean and metal vocals, including the fundamentals of safe distortion, fry screams, and harsh vocal techniques. Sessions run for 30–60 minutes and focus on practical exercises, technique development, and real song application, helping students develop power, control, confidence, and a unique sound of their own. Classically trained (AMEB Grade 8) with 6+ years of performance experience in concerts, musical theatre, and metal music.
