About Giorgio

Ciao a tutti! Salvete omnes!

My name is Giorgio Molteni. I am a qualified teacher (Cambridge PGCE) with a Master's degree in Classics. As well as offering Latin and Greek private tuition, I am also available - as an Italian native speaker - for Italian lessons of every level (from beginners to advanced learners). I have been giving private tuition for more than a decade, and my tutees' brilliant achievements helped me become aware of a genuine inclination for teaching.

About the lesson

I consider private lessons as lessons in all respects and I therefore believe it is vital to be well informed in advance on the needs, objectives and topics that I will discuss with the student, in order to structure the time available to us in the most effective way. The advantage of lessons to individuals or in small groups is that the teacher has the opportunity to understand more deeply the specific needs of all students and to plan strategies that best suit the cognitive styles of each and every pupil. However, the commitment of the teacher must of course correspond to that of the students themselves, so that the work done together may produce positive and lasting effects.
