About Andres
I am a passionate and reliable Flute tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience. I work with School students, College students, and working professionals who want to learn flute for academics, performance, or personal interest.
My teaching approach is organised and easy to follow. I begin with basics such as posture, breathing support, finger placement, and tone control. As students progress, I introduce scales, rhythm patterns, and musical pieces to build confidence and expression.
I strongly believe in good communication and accountability. I explain lessons in simple language and give regular feedback. Practice goals are set and reviewed consistently. I teach with honesty and integrity, always encouraging steady improvement.
Along with flute lessons, I also teach music theory, notation reading, rhythm exercises, and basic performance techniques. I help students prepare for exams and live performances.
My unique strength is my calm teaching style and patience. I adapt lessons to different learning speeds and age groups, creating a comfortable and focused learning environment.

I teach flute using a methodology based on Communication, Creativity, and Flexibility, designed to help students become confident, skilled, and expressive musicians. I begin by assessing each student’s experience, goals, and learning preferences.
Communication allows me to explain techniques such as posture, breath control, fingering, articulation, phrasing, and sight-reading in a clear and structured way. Students are encouraged to ask questions, actively engage, and reflect on their learning, fostering confidence and independence.
Creativity is central to my approach. I motivate students to explore improvisation, interpret pieces in their own style, and create original compositions. This builds both technical mastery and artistic expression. Flexibility allows lessons to be tailored to the student’s pace, progress, and interests, making learning enjoyable, effective, and fully personalised.
Alongside flute instruction, I include music theory, rhythm exercises, sight-reading, and ear training to create well-rounded musicianship. My methodology ensures students develop technical proficiency, expressive performance skills, and confidence, while fostering a lifelong love for music and a meaningful connection to their instrument.
