About Bridget

I studied occupational therapy at Western Sydney University and have worked in clinical roles and an education role since this time. I love supporting students and new graduates and contributing to their learning so look forward to supporting students on this platform.

About the lesson

First lesson is free. I am available for one-off lessons or ongoing. We can spend part of the first lesson working out what you need from tutoring as well as your learning style.

I am a qualified Occupational Therapist with clinical experience across acute inpatient, rehabilitation, and community practice settings.

I also have experience supervising student clinical placements as well as supervising occupational therapy staff, and developing and facilitating clinical education sessions. I am skilled at supporting learners with clear and organized instruction, and reflective questioning so that learners can be both accurately guided and develop their own clinical reasoning and independent thought.

Learners have always provided feedback on my gentle and kind approach, clear communication and ability to tailor teaching/coaching to their needs and preferences.

My approach is to create a safe and supportive learning environment where no question is a silly one, and assessment and course content learning objectives and expectations are understood by the end of each lesson.

Deadly! My classmates and I reached out to Bridget for help as we prepared for our speaking tests. Thanks to her support, we passed our exams! She was incredibly patient, responsive, and thorough in reviewing our answers and providing useful feedback. Her insights and experience as a practising OT were especially useful and helped us feel much more confident going into our exams. We highly recommend Bridget to anyone looking for a tutor!
