About Mahin

Having worked and studied in two different countries , I have gained invaluable experience. This helped me widen my spectrum of understanding and learning, but most importantly, realise that there is always a scope for improvement.

Working with different people , learning from different teachers, coming from different backgrounds - these might sound astounding , but these were the few of the most challenging, but at the same time , most enjoyable times of my life.

I follow most sports , few of the favourites being golf, badminton, football and tennis. Personally, I have represented my university in badminton and basketball. Hence , I decided My area of expertise and interest as orthopaedics and sports physiotherapy. It has been great to be working with people involved in these sports and guiding them through their rehabilitation.

Now, I am actively pursuing a PhD and would like to help upcoming students from the knowledge I have gathered over the years. This could be either clinical, academic or just with writing papers. I like my sessions to be interactive and bring the best out of the other person and help them realise their true potential, with the best of my abilities.

About the lesson

Given my clinical background , compounded with the research experience, I have learnt in depth about patient management and having an academic approach to helping people. This ensures I can deliver to the best of my abilities.

My masters degree helped me understand the importance of academic writing combined with clinical reasoning. Thought this time, I have produced several quality papers which were well regarded and they helped me deepen and my knowledge and understanding of the field. I also possess a background in treating sports injuries , having worked with recreational players and being involved in sports myself.

Lessons would be conducted with presentations and interactive discussions. Lasting between 30mins - 1 hour.

I believe it is important to have a dialogue as compared to a monologue. Academic writing is key. My lessons are for any healthcare professional keen in the field or research.
Any students who have decided to purse medicine and require academic help, within my scope of practice, would be welcome.
