About Ishani

My interest in programming began with a fascination for how software systems are built and how logic can solve complex problems. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, where I developed strong skills in coding and problem solving. Over the past 7 years, I have worked with students at different levels, helping them build confidence and understanding in programming. Teaching allows me to simplify complex ideas and guide learners effectively.

My teaching style is practical, flexible, and student-focused. I believe students learn best through practice, so I include coding exercises in every lesson. I break down complex problems into smaller steps so they become easier to understand. I also create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. This helps them improve steadily and stay motivated.

Outside teaching, I continue working on coding projects and learning new technologies to stay updated. This helps me bring real-world examples and current practices into my lessons. Teaching programming is meaningful to me because I see students grow from beginners to confident problem solvers. Helping them build strong technical skills, improve their confidence, and prepare for future opportunities is something I truly value, and I am dedicated to supporting their growth every step of the way.

About the lesson

My programming lessons focus on helping students understand coding in a simple, structured, and practical way. I guide learners through key concepts like variables, loops, conditions, functions, and basic data structures using clear explanations. Instead of memorising code, I help students understand the logic behind each step so they can solve problems confidently. Each lesson includes hands-on coding practice where students write, test, and improve their programmes. This approach helps them learn actively and build strong confidence.

Lessons are tailored based on the student’s level and learning goals. Beginners start with basic syntax and simple programmes to build understanding. Intermediate learners work on structured coding, debugging, and small project development. Advanced students focus on algorithms, optimisation techniques, and building complete applications. I provide regular guidance, corrections, and practice tasks to ensure steady improvement. This structured approach helps students build strong coding skills over time.

Programming also helps students develop logical thinking, creativity, and patience. As they begin to build their own programmes, they gain confidence and motivation. Many students enjoy solving problems and creating useful applications. My goal is to make programming simple, engaging, and meaningful. I want students to become independent learners who can think clearly, solve problems efficiently, and apply their coding skills in real-world situations and future career opportunities.
