I completed my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Colorado State University, where I helped run beginner coding workshops for K–12 students. With five years of online tutoring experience, I’ve learned how to explain technical topics in ways that feel friendly, simple, and approachable. Programming is easiest when students understand the logic beneath the code. I start by explaining how computers follow instructions and how small steps create full solutions. Then we move calmly into Python, SQL, JavaScript, Java, and beginner-level AI.
Students write mini-programs, test them, analyze mistakes, and grow more confident as they see the code respond to their ideas. My lessons are designed to build a strong foundation that prepares them for future college computing courses, where logical thinking and problem-solving become essential.
I prioritize patience, clarity, and emotional support so students never feel lost or pressured.
