My teaching approach is student-centred and output-driven, using modelling, guided practice, Socratic questioning, and scaffolded tasks so students learn by writing, speaking, and analysing rather than just listening. A typical lesson starts with a quick review and diagnostic warm-up, moves into modelling and guided practice of the target skill, then independent application, and ends with a summary and a small practice task. What sets me apart is that I diagnose the specific weakness — whether it's organisation, grammar, delivery, or analysis — and give specific, actionable feedback that builds both skill and confidence, while teaching strategies students can use independently. My lessons are for college and senior high school Communication Arts students covering subjects like English and academic writing, speech and public speaking, journalism, media and communication theory, argumentation, and literature, whether one-to-one or in small groups, online or in perso
